Aishwarya Rai, daughter of a Naval Officer was born in Manglore,
Karnataka. She did her schooling in Mumbai as her family moved
to Mumbai when she was just 4 years old.
Aishwarya Rai wanted to do medicine but ended up choosing
Architecture, By this time she was already modeling and aishwarya raited
concentrating more on the same. Her First Modelling Assignment
was when she was in 9th grade, for Camelin Industries. Later
She did Assigments for Pamolive, Casio Pager, Pepsi, Philips,
Sheetal Diva, Prudent and many more...
Aishwarya Rai won Miss World 1994 and soon stepped
in the Bollywood industry with Bobby Deol in "Aur
Paar Ho Gaya" (1997)
Was that enough? NO! - She won Best Actresses award
in year 2000 ( Filmfare & Zee Cine Awards ) for her act
in "Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam", which proved
that she is not only beautiful but can act as well.
In year 2003 Ash became the first Indian actor to be a member
of the jury at the Cannes Film Festival, She looked lovely
with the dresses she wore.
Now it was time for her to step ahead, Aishwarya Rai has enter
Hollywood to play lead role in movie "Bride and Prejudice"
She has been offered various Hollywood movies which would
be completed in a year.
